Cedarburg Strawberry Festival This Weekend

As Jennifer Flaten reported, this Weekend on Saturday June 27th and Sunday June 28th Cedarburg hosts the 24th annual strawberry festival.

Cedarburg is the place to be this weekend if you love strawberries, or just enjoy browsing great arts and crafts in the sunshine.

Strawberry Festival celebrates all things strawberry. If you have never made the trip to Cedarburg this weekend is the perfect time.

You can stroll beautiful downtown Cedarburg and eat luscious fresh picked strawberries from Schmit’s Berry Farm, drink Strawberry wine from Cedarburg’s Cedar Creek Winery or you can try a strawberry crepe or sample the unique strawberry brat.

The festival also includes Arts on the Avenue, which show cases artwork from several of Cedarburg’s fine art fairs. You will be able to buy pieces from the Plein Art Painting competition and view a quick paint competition.

For the music lover, the strawberry festival offers several different bands playing all over the avenue. The music lover (or those that love to dance) can hear everything from Rock n’ Roll to Bluegrass.

The kids are not forgotten during the strawberry festival, Cedar Creek Park offers a Festival Kids Korner with pony rides, petting zoo, a paintable mural, and a whole lot more kids fun.

Strawberry fest runs 10a-6p Saturday and 10a-5p Sunday.
