Embroidering Your Work Clothes

Embroidered workwear can incorporate neatly sewn -in company names and company logos on the work wear. Embroidering creates a distinctive effect of its own, an effect that can enhance the brands of companies.

These embroidered lettering and logos are durable, washable and can be made using the distinctive patterns, colors and lettering styles the company already uses. Sewn in embroidery is difficult to remove and so your brand will go wherever the cloth goes.

The image of your company can definitely be enhanced through well-designed and executed embroidered work wear. Seen day-in-day-out, the lettering and logos can imprint your company brand into the minds of all who come to see it.

Non-Sewing Solutions

Where sewing is not the best solution as for waterproof clothes, heat transfer can be employed for lettering and logos. Permanent and washable, heat transfer is ideal for single color work.

Embroidered workwear is available for catering and chefs wear, high visibility safety wear, strikingly patterned aprons, jackets and coveralls, ties and scarves, business wear and trousers, and any other kind of work or professional wear.

The Appeal of Embroidered Work Wear

Embroidery adds its own appeal to the standard work wear, making it more attractive to the workers. The patterns on embroidered workwear break the monotony and boredom of uniformity. You might actually be contributing to better HR by having your workwear embroidered.

Another aspect of embroidered workwear is personalization. You can order personalized workwear that is suited to your profession or business, as well as your own tastes.

In these days of advanced technology, personalization is not all that big a problem and suppliers might accept even one garment as the minimum order size.

Embroidered “Workwear” as Promotional Clothing

You can offer embroidered wear as part of your promotional efforts. For example, your customers might be delighted to receive embroidered polo shirts or sweatshirts.

If you brand these wear with your logo and name, many outside your organization will see it, and the awareness of your company brand will expand.

Getting Embroidered Workwear

You can get embroidered workwear from work wear suppliers. Suppliers with modern equipment will not find it a problem to embroider the clothing.

Alternatively, you can approach specialist embroiderers who will focus on the embroidery alone.

Conclusion

Embroidered workwear could do many things. It could help build your corporate brand and image. It could contribute to worker pride and satisfaction. It could promote your business.

With the advances in technology, personalization of even small quantities of work wear is not a problem. Suppliers might be willing to supply an order for even a single garment as embroidered workwear.

Big Bill Work Wear for Cold Weather Construction

Certain jobs require employees to spend long hours working outdoors in extreme cold weather conditions.  It is important to always be prepared, as weather can be unpredictable.  Work zones, such as construction sites, have building deadlines and don’t always stop for cold temperatures.  This can present a danger to members of construction crews if they are not fully prepared for conditions on the jobsite.

Negative 18 degree weather didn’t stop a crew in Jordan, Minnesota from finishing up a project drilling through a 2,500 foot rock formation.  The crew worked through blizzards and freezing rain in order to meet deadlines and still remain within work hour budgets. They would not have been able to do that without proper cold weather clothing.

Risks involved working outdoors in cold and inclement weather are often overlooked.  Cold weather can cause hypothermia and frostbite.  Hypothermia occurs when the body reaches abnormally low body temperatures.  While not always fatal, hypothermia can become life threatening if the body reaches a temperature below 32.2 degrees Celsius or 90 degrees Fahrenheit.  Frostbite leads to damages in tissues as a result of the formation of ice crystals within cells.  Extreme frostbite can also result in the loss of fingers or toes.  In addition, musculoskeletal injuries often referred to as MSI, can be a result of prolonged hours spent working outside.  In cold climates it’s important to dress appropriately to preserve body heat while still allowing for the body to breath and expel moisture.

The best way to prevent risks on the worksite is to dress properly for the type of weather you’ll be working in.  Work Wear Headquarters (www.WorkWearHeadquarters.com) provides top of the line attire for such conditions.  The Big Bill Work Wear line provides the outdoor clothes necessary for safe outdoor working conditions.  If working outside in snow, ice, or rain, a thermal lined hooded fleece jacket could be vital to keep you going on the job.  If you are working in a climate that is between fall and winter, your best bet is probably a duck vest.  Its design clings to your body, keeping your core warm, but allowing more mobility at the sleeves.

Puffy coats can keep you warm, but hinder your ability to perform work tasks.  It can be hard to bend down, pick up tools, and operate machinery in traditional bulky, long jackets. Duck insulated chore coats are meant for this particular purpose.  That way, it’s easier to stay warm and move about your jobsite freely.  For optimal warmth, a pair of wool pants can keep your legs warm and help trap in heat below the waist. It is always a good idea to “layer” your clothing since the air space between layers is a very effective insulation. Layering also allows one to adjust their clothing throughout the day to match temperature changes.

Many of the cold weather work clothes also come in different colors, so they keep you warm while still maintaining your style.  Jackets, fleece, and pants can be worn for work purposes, as well as around the yard, outside on ski and snowmobiling trips, and when going out.  Big Bill Clothing offers affordable and durable clothing that allows you to perform your job effectively while keeping you safe from harsh weather conditions.

Avoid outdoor cold related injuries by visiting www.WorkWearHeadquarters.com to learn more about the attire you need to perform your job safely.

Making the Most of Your Work Clothes

Time is often short in the mornings and the last thing you want is to spend too much time deciding what to wear.  You may find yourself opting for the same suit or skirt and jacket combination every day or dithering over items of clothes, deciding whether or not they are suitable for work.  The formal dress code will vary depending on your line of work but once you have established a basic “work wardrobe”,  mornings will be stress free and you will confident that you always look appropriately dressed and well groomed.

The Basics

You will need four suits or skirt/jacket, trouser/jacket combinations.  For these items choose neutral colours that really flatter your colouring.  Black is a “safe” option but doesn’t suit everybody, so try to find an alternative; navy, brown or pewter.

Tops

You will need six to eight different tops.  Buy a variety of colours and styles.  If you choose only white blouses you will look as though you wear a uniform.  Buttoned shirts or blouses sometimes gape on large busted women so jersey tops are a better option.  If you have chosen colours that suit you, they will all coordinate with the suits, jackets, trousers and skirts you have in your best neutral colours.  Avoid revealing tops; cleavage is not appropriate in formal or business settings.

Dresses

You could wear a smart dress instead of a skirt and top and team it with a jacket.

Coat

You will need a smart overcoat and/or raincoat that will fit over your suit.  This should be in one of your neutrals so it tones with everything you wear.  Again black is not always the most flattering colour.

Shoes

You will need two or three pairs of heeled shoes that match your suits and are not too high. These need to be kept clean and polished and should be replaced as soon as they start to look worn.  Remember to have matching hosiery and never wear a suit with bare legs, even in the summer.

Bags

It is optimal to have two good quality handbags in neutral colours that coordinate with your clothes.  If you need to carry lots of documents and a laptop, a small wheeled suitcase will look smarter and be better for your back and shoulders.

Finishing Touches

Wear some make-up.  It completes the look and is expected in business.  Ensure that your jewellery is discreet and coordinating; hair must be tidy and well cut.  Hands clean and nails cared for but not too long.

Consider the time you have spent organising your wardrobe as time well spent.  It may take a while to establish and  some purchaes may be needed but once this has been achieved you will reap the benefits day after day.
